INSANITY – Program Details
What is INSANITY?
Fitness trainer Shaun T pushes the limits with 10 workouts packed with plyometric drills and continuous intervals of:
- power, and
- resistance moves.
Plyometrics, also known as “jump training” or “plyos”, are exercises in which muscles exert maximum force in short intervals of time, with the goal of increasing power (speed-strength).
The program also incorporates ab and core training techniques to help sculpt and tone the ultimate physique.
The core includes the traverse abdominis (TVA), erector spinae, obliques and your lower lats. These muscles work as stabilizers for the entire body. Core training is simply doing specific exercises to develop and strengthen these stabilizer muscles.
This is training that will burn 1,000 calories per hour.
